On the north side of highway 14 Sushi Monster is tucked in behind the lounge of the Springs Motel. You come in through main lobby entry, it's entry is to the left.It is not a large space, but was nice.There is a delightfully wide variety of sushi to choose from, as well as non-fish options and vegetarian choices too.The salmon sashimi was lovely, they had sold out of tuna. The boys and I shared several specialty rolls and I enjoyed them all! My wife had the teriyaki chicken on udon noodles and it was delicious!They kept our water glasses full and I enjoyed a Sapporo beer. They have 3 Japanese beers as well as the regular lounge liquor menu.It is priced not too high, well worth it. We ate LOTS and still brought some home. Don't be put off by the exterior, slip in and enjoy something rarely found out here in the country.
Amazing restaurant in Wainwright.I have been ordering from here fairly frequently since its opening; been through some "new business hiccups", and treated extremely well when there were oopses back then.Whenever I've picked up my order, the staff is extremely friendly and polite.The food is amazing, and has only gotten better with time. Portions are generous, palatable and with enough variety to keep a person interested. If you choose to sit down, instead of takeout, the presentation of the different rolls is quite neat as well.A truly unique restaurant in a sea of "burgers or pizza" places in town. Whether passing through town, or just having never noticed the location, I'd recommend new people try this restaurant as I believe it's one of the best places in Wainwright.
Unbelievable food! Have not found its equal anywhere in the greater Edmonton area. Ambiance is lacking...but the food...awesome!.
