There Honeypot is a quirky place with a ton of history. Set downtown near the railway station it is an oasis of old town charm. The building is kept with pride, clean and well set up for a fun night in the pub or a dressed up date in the restaurant. The food is good if a little pricey, I would gladly recommend anything on the menu, their appy's are awesome and the boneless wings are a favorite of mine. As with any place the service isn't always the best but it is hard to find good staff all the time, make sure to ask not to be seated too close to the kitchen.
Well this was probably the best way to start my life in Wainwright. Servers were fantastic. Drinks were cold. Everything came us very fast. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese (because the concept seemed so strange) and APPARENTLY I've been doing grilled cheese wrong my entire life. I will dream about that sandwich. Been back a couple of time and same experience.DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT IF YOUR IN TOWN
I ordered takeout online and requested the steak and the steamed veggies to be cooked clean; no spices etc as to follow the 2030 eating plan. When I got it home, the steak had spices on it and I assume the veggies were cooked in oil. I also ordered and paid for a dessert which I did not receive. The Honey Pot is aware of the 2030 rules and I have ordered this exact meal several times and had success every time so its unfortunate and disappointing that I went out of my way to come into town and order from this restaurant so I that I stayed on track with my eating but then ended up "cheating". I have been in touch with the staff and am waiting for management to call me back with a refund for the dessert.
The Serving staff is beautiful, excellent and genuinely care about you. The food is the best in town. If you haven't came here yet you have made a mistake. The BBQ Pulled Pork tacos need to be served everyday though.
Really good service awesome food. Excellent variety of craft beer on tap. Portion sizes were good and the ambiance was delightful! Try it here you won't be disappointed!!!!
